Glasstap Launches Trainers' Events
Don't miss our October Conference!
As many of you may already know, 30th October 2008 sees the launch of Trainers' Events, with our very first Trainers' Library Conference featuring both Sir John Whitmore and Peter Honey, two of the most famous contributors to learning and development in this country.

This is a one and a half day event, culminating in a gala dinner and dance on Thursday night and our very special key note speaker, Sir John Whitmore, speaking on Friday morning.

The ticket price includes an overnight stay at The Old Swan Hotel, Harrogate, famous not only for being a beautiful place to stay, but also for it's connections with Agatha Christie.

Our first conference coincides with Trainers' Library's fifth birthday and we thought, what better way to celebrate than with our customers, old and new.

Not only will delegates get the chance to attend workshops facilitated by Peter Honey, Clare Forrest, Graham Shaw and Rod Webb, it will also be an amazing networking opportunity.

There will even be a chance to take part in a brand new Trainers' Library teambuilding game.

Take a look at exactly what's on offer (and remember that Trainers' Library members get an automatic 20% discount on the price of the tickets) at:
www.trainersevents.com

Tickets are limited and selling fast so please book early to avoid disappointment!

Refer a friend and help an African family!
Trainers' Library will be five years old in May but don't worry, we're not asking for an expensive gift - just a herd of goats for Africa.

For every new customer that joins between 1st April and 30th June 2008 we'll give a goat to a poor African family, helping them to build a sustainable future for themselves.

Why not help us out by referring a friend - you'll receive the usual £50 reward for each one that joins and they'll still receive a massive 50% discount on their joining fee - making everyone happy!

Murder at Glasstap Grange
Review Reward
This month's special reward (on top of the usual £5 Trainers' Market voucher) will go to the first review we receive of Murder at Glasstap Grange.

Just email your review to:
contact@glasstap.com

Amazingly, even though this is one of our most popular teambuilding games, we've yet to hear how our members have used it in a classroom situation!

What's new - Trainers' Library Latest Additions
This is what has been added since the last newsletter went out.

The following can be found under Course Modules/Strategic Thinking:

Hotel Doldrums - Part 1 - Where are we now?

Hotel Doldrums - Part 2 - Where do we want to be?

Hotel Doldrums - Part 3 - How do we get there?

A teambuilding game version of Hotel Doldrums will soon be available too.

Pirate booty gone!
Many thanks to Helen Harries who reviewed our newest teambuilding game - Pirate Challenge.

Below is an extract of what she thought but to see Helen's full review of how the game worked for her just click on the "information" button in Trainers' Library.

"I highly recommend the Pirate Challenge. It's not only great fun, but it tests so many skills - planning, time management, negotiation, conflict resolution, prioritisation, communication....the list goes on.

" I have found it hard to find suitable exercises to run with larger groups, but this one fit the bill perfectly. It requires only easily obtained and cheap resources - another important factor for many trainers on tight budgets!"
