As we don't have a member to profile this month I've devised a set
of teasers instead!
Do please get in touch though if you'd like us to feature your
profile on this page. We love to hear from you all.
Mrs Niggle's tea strop
Mrs Niggle went for afternoon cream tea in the Tasty Tearooms.
Noticing a spider floating in the hot liquid, just in time
as she was about to take a sip, she sent it back to the kitchen
to be replaced.
When the fresh cup arrived she tasted it and immediately sent it
back again saying "this is exactly the same cup as I had before!
You've simply removed the spider" and demanded a fresh cup.
The kitchen staff were amazed that she'd rumbled them - but she
was correct, it was indeed the same cup.
How did she know?

Glasstap girls race for life
They did it again!
On May 18th Claire, Kay, Louise and Zoe all joined thousands
of women in Gatehead's Saltwell Park to help raise
money for Cancer Research again.
Not only did they give up their Sunday, leaving very early in
the morning to attend the event, but Claire and Zoe joined the
front runners and managed to beat their previous year's time.
Very well done to them. If you'd like to take part in a Race
for Life near you then please do have a look on the website:

Welsh Holiday
Review Reward
As the weather's been so spectacular recently, this months
special reward goes to the first person to review Welsh Holiday.
It's a great exercise in which participants are split into small teams and each
team has to work with one other team, located elsewhere, to solve a shared problem.
Communication between teams is by telephone (or Walkie Talkie). The exercise
is brilliant for demonstrating the importance of clear communication where there
is no face to face contact and can be used to illustrate the importance of summary
and clarification, good open questions and active listening, as well as more
specific problem solving and team skills.
Just email your review to:
contact@glasstap.com
And don't forget we'd still love to receive reviews for Trainers' Market products
too. |
