What did you do before?
I worked as a mental health staff nurse for 13 years before having my two sons and since returning to work have had various jobs and managed to complete a BA Hons degree in English literature.

What do you do when you're not at work?
I love to watch films, spend time with friends, books and outside in our fabulous Cumbrian landscape.

Tell us about a secret ambition:
To stand on top of a flying plane.

What's your proudest moment?
Having two fantastic boys.

1. Laughing with my boys, my partner, friends and family.
2. Films.
3. Reading.
4. The cool morning mist draped on my hair – only kidding – I meant large glasses of red wine.

1. Arrogance.
