Business Writing Course-
Staff put through their paces!
In January, the employees at Glasstap all went on a business writing course, run by Clare Forrest who has written several Trainers' Library modules.

The course was held at the beautiful Langley Castle in Northumberland, not far from the Glasstap office.

Most of us here are fairly confident in our ability to write well enough. However, we were all challenged far more than expected and, as a result of the course, we've changed the wording on many of our standard emails.

We started off with the basics - it's incredible how much was learned even in this "easy" section! Then later we dissected our own letters and emails and discovered just how much we didn't know.

Everyone had a really good time, Clare was loads of fun as well as extremely informative - not to mention understanding and not in the least patronising!

Clare will also be one of our special guest speakers at the very first Trainers' Library Conference to be held in October. More information is available at:
