Hi Kate and Kim. This is an area that I too have been asked to look in to along with our HR Manager. I would be really keen to know more about it, so any info you have would be welcome!
Thanks

Hi Kate
I have incorporated a session on talent management in a programme I have designed for leaders working in a University and this was a new area for nearly all of them- it went realy well . (This programme was designed after a employee engegement survey). We designed different interventions- We made a dvd of the HR Director interviewing someone who has the role of head of talent management in another public service - and we played excerpts during the session. We had a interactive session from someone sharing their experiences of and approaches to talent management in different organisations. They did some group work around the paper published earlier this year on 12 fundamental princioples of common sense talent management- helping them to think through what they alreday had in place (although they may not perceive it as talent manegment) and what would be good to do . I am very happy to talk through some more if you would like to discuss further.
good luck with this
