I have been a professional in education since 1989 when I started teaching Modern Foreign Languages and English at secondary level. Since 2008, I have been training teachers in planning, delivery, assessment and evaluation in MFL and First Language English and a range of generic topics like formative assessment, differentiation, reflection, evaluation, active learning, metacognition, etc. I am passionate about connecting with people to realise change, for the benefit of all they come into contact with. I have worked with curriculum leaders, teachers and support staff in a number of roles. Most recently, I have been training in presentation skills (free-speaking and connecting with your audience) and effective pair and group work.
Expertise
My expertise is change management, assertive behaviour, behaviour management and skills development in relation to critical thinking, collaboration and communication, research, critical thinking and reflection and learning using digital technologies.
