Background
I have recently retired following 30 years with Northamptonshire Fire & Rescue Service where I finished as a Watch Manager, training, developing and leading my crew during their day to day activities, educating and supporting the safety of people in the communities we served and at a wide variety of operational incidents.

During the same period of time I have developed myself to become an IAAF Level 5 Elite Performance Coach in athletics and have now coached my athletes to every major global championships Including; Olympics, Worlds, European and Commonwealth Games as well as a number of national records. My roles have included; Great Britain Team Coach, EA National Coach mentor and key-note speaker at National & International Conferences.

Over the past 8 years I have used my skills and experience to coach many individuals and teams across the public services and private business sectors as well as the Armed Forces in many areas of performance development.

My role as Lead Performance Coach at Gateway HR has allowed me to develop the Director, the staff and support the business growth as well as being a lead trainer for their highly experienced and successful training team, delivering bespoke training workshops and courses as well as being an accredited centre for the ILM & CMI Level 3 & 5 Leadership and Management Qualifications.

I also hold a CPCAB Level 5 Diploma in Stress Management and help businesses to recognise the value of well-being and resilience in performance.

Expertise
My expertise is providing highly experienced performance coaching and mentoring support to people across all levels of the business and also delivering training workshops to teach managers the theory and art of making coaching a part of their leadership style and the value that this has on developing their people and their performance.

I have helped a number of business and organisations set up highly successful and valued 'Coaching Cultures' by educating coaches, identifying coaching champions and mentoring their development.

Having been a Manager myself and gaining an ILM qualification, I also deliver and facilitate highly engaging and interactive ILM & CMI Level 3 & 5 qualification workshops and courses to develop the knowledge and skills of managers in the workplace.

As a skilled trainer and facilitator, I have written and delivered a wide variety of other bespoke people and performance skill development topic workshops.

Following my 30 years working with individuals and teams in highly pressurised situations in Fire & Rescue and major champs athletics and a variety of workplace environments, I share all my experience plus the learning from my Stress Management Diploma to educate people and businesses of the importance and value of managing the well-being of their people and how developing resilience in your people and across the whole business is essential to not only maintaining performance levels but also to ensure the potential for continued performance growth.
