Hello, I am wondering if anyone has adapted any of the material in the Trainers' Library to suit a Virtual environment. I look after a Shared Services team in Malaysia and want to run a WebEx session on Communication by Phone and Email. Any suggestions or content would be very much appreciated. thanks Louise

Hi

Not specifically Trainer's Library stuff, but I have run a number of soft skills sessions using WebEx training centre. Lots you could do, for example:

- Take a "bad" e-mail example, and get them to highlight up the "wrong" sections using the drawing tools.
- Using virtual breakout rooms a lot to get them to do different exercises and roleplays.
- In the main "talk" sections, making sure that no more than 3 minutes goes past without either a question via text chat or poll or similar.

I would be wary of sharing any videos with Malaysia, as the buffering effect tends to stop them working well over such a long distance.

Hope that helps, generally I found things fairly easy to adapt.
