We have used an external trainer to deliver this course to us over a 6 month and a 12 month period twice in the last two years and they are coming back to us this month to do the same course for our newer managers over a 4 month period. It's not a leadership program as such but it could be worth looking at Managers' Library as a tool for the manager too, there's 25 self study guides available on a range of topics. Hi Lisa,
If you are looking for something much more in depth over a 6-12 month period, have you considered 1:1 Leadership Coaching for your manager? As a Business Coach, Leadership Training and Coaching is one of the main areas I specialise in. I have trained and coached a huge variety of managers in this area (from first line management through to Senior Managers and the Executive Team) with great success and results. It may also be that a mixture of Coaching and Training is needed for your manager, depending on the results you are hoping to achieve.
