Hi Ric thank you I would definitely be interested in finding out more. Blame is certainly a strong trait at present! |

Thanks Michelle this was really useful. I could even identify the different characters in the team. We are planning to ask all members of the team to read this prior to our event workshops! |

HI Lorriane I would recommend you get you hands on a copy of "Overcoming the Five Dysfunctions of a Team - a field guide". You will be able to order it online or most large booksellers should have a copy. The author is Patrick Lencioni. cheers Michelle |

Hi Lorraine I have just been working on a similar situation with a group of 10 senior managers coming together. The blame culture was the strongest competency they had :-/ I used Discovery Insights to build an understanding of who each other is and then used the Team Effectiveness model within Insights to support the group in designing a "Ways of Working" charter between them. This now forms the foundation for how they manage the relationships in the team and how they work together moving forward. It has been really effective and although it will take time they have begun to stop the blame game. Happy to talk you through this further if you wanted to. [email protected] Ric |
