Thanks so much for that Nicole, super helpful. The pre-work quiz that you sent out, was this something that you created yourself or something that I can access online? Thanks again, Anna |

Hi Anna, We did this a few months back as part of a Priming for Growth programme for managers, and it's really resonated with the delegates. Specifically for Growth Mindset, we focused on: Pre-work: a growth mindset quiz which included phrases conmprising of growth and fixed tones, and the participants had to score a self-assessment against each, and they were to bring that to the session. An Introduction to Growth Mindset Showed this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uB5Pt_8cr6Y and asked participants to observe what they see and hear in terms of a growth mindset. Discussed openly. What is growth v fixed mindset? - Asked to break out in to small groups - 1 for growth and 1 for fixed, and on a flip they were to articulate phrases that may demonstrate each mindset. I also asked them to write hints and tips too - so for the fixed mindset group, write about how to influence a growth mindset, and for the growth group, write tips to encourage and maintain a growth mindset Impact of a manager with a growth or fixed mindset - openly discuss Activity - From pre-work, identify any mindset beliefs that you want to change or develop further A fixed statements that you want to change B growth statements that you want to build on further In pairs, ask each other questions to challenge the belief and encourage a positive growth mindset, e.g. What are the benefits of changing this (B) belief? What evidence do you have that it (B) is not true? Who or what could help you to change this belief? How can you strengthen this (A) belief further? Where can you apply this growth mindset belief for even better results? I hope this helps. Thanks Nicole
