Extended induction processes / induction "academies"

Hi there. I'm keen to make contact with anyone who has experience of running extended induction training "academies", where these involve several weeks of training prior to an individual being launched in to the business. We have two - one route for those brand new to our industry, and a second route for those with sector experience but new to our business. I'm currently wrestling with how to make them work operationally and practically and would love to connect with anyone who might have wise words. Thanks!

Hi Hannah , we run a two week induction process for our care and Nursing staff prior to commencing on the rota. Not sure what industry you operate in? It's an investment for us as clearly they cant be used for a shift until the induction is complete however they come out with all the knowledge and confidence they need to start their actual shifts and has had a positive effect on turnover. Happy to connect if you feel I could share anything useful bearing in mind the sector I work in .
