Hi Debbie, a quick thought that came to mind is to set up the training room so something needs "fixing" and see if any of the learners do it without prompting. Maybe some rubbish that missed the bin, a chair knocked over, etc. You could then have a discussion about why or why not people took action. What stopped them (I think there is a lot of research about people not acting when in a group. I seem to recall something about people sitting in a waiting room and smoke coming under the door and no one wanting to be the one to mention it). Could be an interesting way to start the session. |
