Hi All,
I've been asked by a manager if I can suggest a provider for 'Contract Management' training. It's for a Local Government employee who has recently been redeployed into a Contract Officer role - the manager feels that she has the necessary aptitude for the post (part-qualified accountant and previously worked as Finance Manager - so some transferable skills) but wants to support her in getting to grips with the requirements of new position, particularly around contract law.
The preference is for more input than just a 1 or 2 day workshop, possibly over a few months, maybe distance learning but ideally with some tutor contact... I've come up with a few options from a quick Google search/suggestions from colleagues including CIPS, PMMS (although website doesn't seem very up-to-date), Falconbury.... does anybody have any knowledge of the training offered by these companies or know of any others worth considering?
