I am working on lots of different projects at the moment and I am hoping you can help me out with 2 requests:
1. Can anyone recommend a negotiation skills provider - preferably based in the Midlands? It is for senior people who negotiate buying and selling companies.

2. I have been asked to put together a session around communications in project management. Can anyone help me with exercises, materials etc?

Feel free to email me direct [email protected]

Sometime ago I used a company called Hartley Brewer who are based in London but work internationally the email address I hold for them is [email protected] however I expect that it's out of date. They are not cheap but you would save the cost of the course in one negotiation. There experience is of negotiating at a very high level so would be very suitable for you. If you would like to know any more, including better contact details, then please email me [email protected].

I can recommend Keith Risk who owns and runs The Conflict Resolution Company. He's based between Banbury and Stratford-upon-Avon. He runs 2 types of courses for us: Practice of Negotiation and Advanced Negotiation but is, obviously, happy to tailor content/case studies to suit your circumstances.

I particularly like the fact that he uses a closed-circuit TV system to be able to watch and comment on a negotiation role-play whilst it's happening without disturbing the participants. This means you learn as much from observing a role-play as you do from actually taking part.

His contact details are:
[email protected] and 01295 680133
