Hi Sharon, I also have used the exercise "are you okay with this" as part of training on Dignity at Work. This was very well received by groups at the time. I also use another "Statements" exercise with a number of pre-prepared statements. Individuals are each required to read out a statement [for the benefit of their colleagues] then decide either agree or disagree with the sentiments expressed and explain why. It always generates lots of debate it can identify "blind" spots in peoples awareness, and illustrate how stereotypical images influencing our view of the world. I'd be happy to discuss further. I use an exercise around chinese horoscopes- can be used with more than 12 and with large groups. It is fun - gets people up and is a good way into difference and diversity Do contact me you would like to know more.

Hi Sharon,
I recently used the exercise "are you OK with this?", also from trainers library. It worked very well and created quite a bit of debate.
Best wishes

We have recently purchased a Diversity Board game from gamethingy.com. It can be used with different sizes of groups and covers a variety of Diversity issues.
Worth taking a look. Regards, Barbara

Hi Sharon,
Witches of Glum (in Trainers' Library) is a really useful exercise for getting participants to understand why stereotypes exist and to provoke discussion about prejudices and assumptions. It's recently been endorsed by the charity Show Racism the Red Card too.
We've got a fantastic new module being added to Trainers' Library on the subject of diversity in the next few weeks as well. It's called Leap of Faith - look out for it. It's fun and it really gets participants thinking.
Hope you get lots of other useful suggestions too.
Warm regards,
Rod
