I am putting together some training for a group of account managers on cold calling new accounts or accounts that have not traded for some time with a view to securing some new business. I have a course outline and will be covering things like questioning, identifying a need, the value proposition of the business, establishing the right contacts and gathering infomration about the account etc. I wonder if anyone has any exercises which might bring this trainig to life. I have pre recorded some calls which we can listen to and evaluate. I also plan to get people to role play in pairs and give each other feedback. Has anybody done anything similar and be happy to share exercises / ideas? Thanks Lyndsey |
