Background
Over 35 years experience in the life industry with the last 20/25 years spent on the Learning and Development side. I have always worked for companies with this role before setting up on my own in October 2014.
I am predominantly a soft skills trainer and cover all design, delivery and evaluation of training from Induction to Management training and 360 feedback. I also conduct one to one or group coaching sessions. I am also an Accuracy consultant for Scott Bradbury delivering their Developing and Eye for Accuracy workshop which is aimed at reducing the cost of errors in the workplace.
In past roles I have been responsible for Business Recovery Processes being the main point of contact for senior and line managers in the event of a disaster or incident.
I am CIPD qualified as well as being a qualified coach, Myers Briggs Practitioner, NLP Practitioner and a Human Synergistics Accredited Consultant delivering feedback and workshops using their Learning Styles Inventory (LSI) and other tools.
Expertise
Although my remit is very wide my expertise certainly lies with communication and team building together with leadership. Others would say this is what I do best.
What else do you need to know
I’m calm, a good sounding board for ideas giving honest feedback and always likely to come up with a different approach or twist on an existing training activity, especially when matched with my dry sense of humour.
