- Wellbeing Training

Some level of stress can be helpful – for example, it’s what we might feel when we step outside of our comfort zone
and try something new for the first time. But when stress becomes too much, it can be disabling and impact our
physical and mental health in a multitude of ways.
In this section you’ll find training modules that as well as looking at distress, the causes of distress, the
signs of stress, and how to manage stress, help participants understand other aspects of mental health, including
optimism and mental ill health, including depression.
Why not take a look at Signs of Stress. This activity helps participants recognise signs which may indicate that someone is suffering from stress.
