Time:
Including breaks, this workshop will take a total of 7.5 hours to run.

Aims:
• To encourage more positive and productive team working in the workplace.
• To enable the team to describe what makes a high performing team and realistically assess their current strengths and weaknesses.
• To identify and plan behavioural changes that will improve the team’s performance.
• To allow team members to get to know and/or better understand their colleagues.
• To re-energise the team.

Outcomes:
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
• Know more about their colleagues.
• Be able to describe what makes a high performing team.
• Understand the importance of playing to different strengths and skills.
• Recognise the need for clear and effective communication.
• Have taken part in team building activities to enhance their team’s performance.

Group Size:
This workshop has been designed to work best with groups of 12-15 participants.

Teams – both newly formed and established.

You'll Need:
In addition to the support materials (handout/briefs etc.) you will need:
• Flipchart, colourful pens, blu-tack and post-it notes.
• 1 Wheel game board, 1 die and 1 counter per team (up to 8 participants in each team).
• Prizes of wrapped sweets/chocolates.
• A whistle.
• A chest to represent Jack Fruggle’s hidden treasure.
• A set of 78 Treasure Hunt Riddle Cards per team.
• Jack Fruggle’s Team Brief, including the map, one per team.
• Scrap paper, pens and pencils.
• Plenty of transparent plastic glasses - ideally a variety of styles.
• A selection of colourful swizzle sticks. (Plastic stirrers with shapes at one end.)
• Coloured tissue paper in a variety of colours.
• One set of My Role Cards per 8 participants.
• A Police Team Pack.
• One Criminal Gang Pack for each criminal gang.
• At least 2 rooms or separate work areas.
• A stopwatch.
• 2 cardboard stars or star shaped post-it notes for each participant.

Notes:
Please note that all timings in the following agenda are approximate. You may need to allow more time on certain aspects of the course and less on others, depending on the needs of your participants.
