I have been asked to deliver 3 hour session for a group of sales people, during a regional sales conference, for a MNC Freight Forwarding company at Chennai,India. 3 hours is too short for Training, will it be correct to talk about people skills for 3 hours? involving activities? Is there materials for me run it? or alternate ideas would help as well. Thanks

Hi Jagadeesan,

What have you been specifically asked to deliver the training on? What are they expecting you to have covered after the 3 hours? What do they want their sales team to have walked away with?

I would say you definitely need more clarity around expectations then go from there...Hope this helps.

Good luck with everything,

Hi Jagadeesan

I completely agree with Jane's comments; three hours is sufficient time to complete training on 1-2 key topics. My advice is to speak to the team and/or their manager and find out what topics they would find useful and then take a look in the library to see what we have that will help you.

All the best

Hi Jagadeesan

What generally do they want to get out of the session? Which areas would they like you to cover? 3 hours feels like you could train 1-2 key topics with activities. I definitely wouldn't just talk, 30-45 mins is about the max that most people can take in.
