Guys thank you so much for your suggestions, we went with the eggs some boiled some not and it went down a treat and surprisingly the only egg damaged was a hard boiled one. Going to look into the jigsaw balls for when we have to run it again as my trainer was a little fed up of boiling eggs :) |

Hi Nikki,
Your idea sounds great. You could still use the hardboiled eggs, and for the ones that need to be able to break without causing a mess - I guess you could blow out the inside of the eggs by making two small holes - one at the top of the egg and one at the bottom. You make a slightly larger hole in the bottom - but we are only talking the size of the inside of a biro pen, so not very noticeable) and then blow the inside of the egg through the hole at the bottom into a bowl. You could always use the inside of the eggs for an omlette if you don't like to waste them! You then still have the shell of the egg in tact, but with no messy fuss when it breaks! |

Another thought - you could pre-make some simple small boxes from thin paper? |

Hi, The most fragile thing I've come across recently has been cheap/thin Christmas tree baubles although using these would cause their own problems. How about a soft playdoh type product that wouldn't break, but would show finger prints, dents etc. Or, items that lightly fit/stack together but need care to hold them. Sounds like what you have planned will be loads of fun. Good luck. Davina. |

I love this idea and was going to suggest jigsaws too. I was thinking small completed jigsaws that need to be flat packed/stacked without them falling apart. :-)
