Notes
Encourage the participants to make connections between leadership styles and motivation.
For example, if a leader’s style is exclusively ‘tell’, what impact will that have on staff motivation in the long-term? If it’s too ‘laid back’ what affect might that have on motivation and morale?
Allow 10 minutes for this discussion and then summarise the group’s thoughts on a flipchart and encourage participants to make notes.
