I love a new year. Firstly, it’s an opportunity to pause, take stock, and reflect on the previous year. What went well? What didn’t turn out as you’d hoped? What would you do differently if you could? And perhaps, most importantly, what have you learnt that you can apply this year?
As you’d expect, we’ve some great activities in Trainers’ Library that will make this part of the process fun and enjoyable for any organisation. The most obvious choice is, A Year in Focus, but you could also use a slightly adapted version of any of the following to highlight and celebrate the year’s successes:
More exciting for me, is what happens after the review. I love the process of planning the changes we’ll make in the coming year to build on the successes and learnings from the one before.
This will involve creating a new shared vision, generating ideas, evaluating them, prioritising them and then planning the implementation. There is a wealth of materials in Trainers’ Library that will help you with each part of this process, including, but not limited to:
Inspiring Change - Watch Our Video: Before Christmas, I made one of our videos, normally exclusively available to members, available to you to review. It makes important points about Change, which are never more relevant than at the beginning of the year, when we’re invariably looking to do things differently.
