External mic and light for laptop

Hi there, I am looking for recommendations for both a good external microphone and light for use when facilitating online training courses.

The light in my office isn't great so am hoping for a ring light (I think it is called), or similar.

I don't want to spend a fortune but will hopefully be using it a lot so am happy to spend a bit more if the product is worth it.

Hi Charlotte, I use Jabra Speak 510 Speaker Phone - Unified Communications Certified Portable Conference Speaker with USB ? Connect with Laptops, Smartphones and Tablets for external mic and love it. Easy to use, fantastic sound and noise reduction too. Someone recommended me a Razer Kiyo broadcasting camera with illumination as camera, so would suggest you check it out. I've however just recently bought a Targus webcam plus with auto focus to have when I travel (on my laptop) and love that one too. I've got a table lamp behind my desktop for working from home and that gives me enough additional light. Good luck! Lottie
