Tuesday Insight: Upcoming Events

Before Christmas I wrote a new icebreaker that encourages participants to reflect on what they’ve gained in the last year, however difficult it might have seemed.

High amongst my many surprising gains from 2020 is a whole new attitude towards virtual training delivery.

Despite the pressures, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed developing our library of new materials for remote delivery, and I’ve discovered for myself that delivering remotely can be as rewarding, enjoyable and fulfilling as classroom training – when everyone is engaged.

More than that, I’ve learned that remote delivery creates opportunities that I’d not envisaged. In the last year, I’ve hosted workshops with customers from Luxemburg, Germany, India, South Africa, Australia, the United States and others, as well as of course, our customers in the UK. This has given me new insights, new connections and new experiences that I would not have had if not for 2020.

As a business too, there have been benefits. We’ve found our virtual events easier to fill than the classroom ones we ran in previous years and, of course, with no travel or accommodation costs (and cheaper tickets due to our own cost savings), they’re much more cost effective for customers to attend.

All this means we’re able now to run more events than ever before, and I’m excited to be able to say we’ll be running some brand new 1-day train the trainer workshops this year too – more on that in March!

In the meantime, here’s a reminder of the events you can already book:

Creative Training Essentials
"Fun, energetic but has a big impact too."

"A must attend for anyone in training or looking to go into training. I am inspired."

"Very engaging and time flew by. Loved getting new ideas and meeting other trainers from many different backgrounds."

"Feel so much more energised and creative - thank you for a wonderful day! I won’t forget today for a long time!"

This is our 'essential' train the trainer course. It’s a truly experiential learning experience, where you’ll be in a group of no more than 15 participants.

On it, you’ll learn:
  • The importance of retention, inspiration and action and how to build these into your training.
  • How to use stories, metaphor, games and other creative training tools, whether delivering face-to-face or remotely.
And much more!

Price:
£295.00 – but depending on your membership level, you might have a free, or half-price place to claim!

Discovery Days
"Loved the day! Exercises used are so useful!"

"Great day. Lovely atmosphere and a fabulous networking opportunity."

I love our Discovery Days. They give me an opportunity to deliver a session I’m passionate about, which often involves sharing a new Trainers’ Library activity, as well as learn from other trainer’s inspirational sessions. I always come away energised, motivated and inspired and I know, from the feedback we receive, that others feel the same.

This year we’re planning on running more Discovery Days than ever before, and you can see a full list of dates here.

(If you’d like to run a session at one of these events, we’d love to hear from you!)

Price:
Non-Members: £95.00
Members: £75.00 and again, depending on your level of membership, you might have a free place!

Remember, places on all of these events are strictly limited to ensure they’re as engaging, participative and experiential as our classroom events, so please book early to avoid disappointment.

I look forward to working with you!

Until next time…
