Hi Gary,

You won't be aware of GDPR as it refers to EU (and UK) legislation that seeks to protect people's privacy and ensures data is used fairly, held securely and only for a reasonable period of time etc.

Interestingly, there are some legal cases involving companies based in the US, and elsewhere, using their overseas location to flout the laws in the EU and it'll be interesting to see how they pan out.
