• To provide participants with tips for ways to apply what they've learnt back in the workplace.

9:45 AM The Bridge - A Road Map for Change

This module is expected to last for 60 minutes

Aims:
• To reflect on what needs to happen before, during and after any change/project.
• To create a visual road map for change.
• To reflect on the barriers to change and how these might be overcome.
• To provide a framework for road mapping any change.




10:45 AM Break
11:00 AM The Change Journey - What to Do When Change Really Hurts

This module is expected to last for 60 minutes

Aims:
• To describe the change curve.
• To consider strategies for working through the change curve journey.




12:00 PM Dinner Party Mayhem - Managing Change

This module is expected to last for 75 minutes

Aims:
• To create a situation where participants have to manage change driven by one department, affecting the work of another.
• To identify some key learning points about managing change.
• To test information gathering and sharing skills.
• To demonstrate the importance of effective questioning, summary and clarification and active listening.
• To consider the pros and cons of different leadership styles.

2:00 PM Beastly Barbecues - Introducing Change

This module is expected to last for 90 minutes

Aims:
• To encourage participants to think about how they would introduce a change programme.
• To consider the importance of establishing a sense that change is essential and urgent.
• To encourage participants to think about how they'll sustain change.




3:30 PM Break
3:45 PM Bridge Challenge - Maintaining Momentum

This module is expected to last for 45 minutes

Aims:
• To consider the importance of momentum when innovating.
• To look at what builds momentum behind a project or idea, and what saps energy from a project or idea.




4:30 PM Ask the Experts - How to Apply Learning

This module is expected to last for 50 minutes

Aims:
• To encourage participants to review their key learning points from the training.
• To provide participants with tips for ways to apply what they've learnt back in the workplace.

Managing Change (2 days) - Day Two
9:30 AM Passengers - A Change Journey

This module is expected to last for 60 minutes

Aims:
• To help participants consider the extent to which they engage in change.
• To help those involved in change consider how they could make the change journey easier for themselves, and others.
• To help those involved in a change plan.



Notes
Use this module to help participants think about what they need to do to help all their 'passengers' engage with the change process and gear the conversations towards this.

10:45 AM Selling Change

This module is expected to last for 80 minutes

Aims:
• To consider what needs to be communicated when change is initiated.
• To explore the need to convince those affected by change of the need for change and its urgency.
• To consider methods that can be used to achieve buy-in to change programmes.

Run this to the point where you have discussed Mike’s email, including feedback and then take a 15-minute break before continuing.
