Unique and memorable training.
Of all the materials in our vast library of experiential, fun and engaging training materials, we’re perhaps most proud of our Team Building Games.
They’re renowned for creating memorable learning experiences that people talk about long after the training has finished - and for giving individuals and teams powerful insights into their behaviours, strengths and preferences.
They’re not just fun to participate in though – they’re also hugely fun to facilitate. And usually, extraordinarily easy to facilitate too – leaving you with the time for keen observation that will help you lead insightful debriefs.
Jack Fruggle’s Treasure is a great example of this. Setting up the exercise couldn’t be simpler – you just put your group into teams and give each team a pack of clue cards.
If you don’t want to print these yourself, you can even buy professionally printed sets – particularly useful if you’re going to use the activity many times. And trust us, once you’ve used it once, you’ll want to keep coming back to it – it’s that powerful.
Once you’ve given the team their cards, it’s simply a question of sitting back and watching what happens.
- Do they start methodically working through clues together?
- Do they consider strategy?
- Do they look for the big picture?
- Do they use the resources in their team effectively? (The riddles test a whole range of different skills that different people will excel at.)
- Who manages time?
- Who manages process?
- How do team members support each other?
These and a whole host of other questions will be answered as team’s work through the challenge they’ve been set in an atmosphere that’s likely to become competitive and sometimes frenzied as teams strive to be first to locate the hidden treasure.
Expect lots of laughter, fun, excitement, energy and most of all learning!
Jack Fruggle is just one example from the 1,000+ carefully designed and tested activities in Trainers’ Library®, building on more than 20 years creative design experience that AI simply cannot come close to replicating.
Customer Feedback:
“I ran the Jack Fruggle’s Treasure last week – and it was a HUGE success!!! It went down really well with the group of 5 teams. As I had 34 people, I nominated 4 observers and took an observer role myself – it was a good decision, it made debriefing even richer afterwards. … The debriefing was actually fantastic, first within teams with the observer and then in plenary, where we were able to especially focus on what made the winning team win – and how this is important in “the real world”. Very, very good response and engagement from everybody, which the director pointed out to me afterwards. Several of the participants thanked me afterwards and said that it had been a very fun but also meaningful activity. It is a fun and engaging game but with a LOT of depth to the debriefing and take aways.”

“I would highly recommend this activity and would also recommend buying the printed cards as it adds a degree of professionalism. Feedback from the delegates was that this was “the best team building game that they had ever done” and I think part of that was because it challenged them mentally more than physically. Can’t wait to have an excuse to use it again!”

“I have now used Jack Fruggles Treasure more than 30 times over the past few years. As well as using for team building/development events, I have also used the activity in training sessions on topics such as problem solving, decision making, and leadership modules. It has also been a great activity to build into my Belbin Team profiling sessions, as it clearly highlights different ways in which individuals contribute towards a team. What a great activity it is and it is so versatile, fun, challenging and can be adapted in so many ways.”
Many thanks for a super resource; it has brought me and my delegates many hours of fun with so many valuable learning points…”
