Hi I am loving all your energy here and offers to help me with this ask thank you so much. I would love to speak to you all direct and gain a better understanding of how you delivered these topics within your pod cast space, and maybe give me a few tips and ideas on how I could introduce these at SUEZ. I will update my profile on here and if you would like to contact me direct then please do and we can get creative :) |

Hello,
I would agree ref the points mentioned.
At Police Scotland our Empower Hours (typically 1.5 -2 hours long) that my team run are very popular, topics that are popular; Intro to EI, Growth Mindset, Feedback, Intro to Coaching. I am always creating new ones too, last year the two new ones I created: Critical Thinking for Individuals, Team and Leaders, and Collaboration (looked at through the lens of personality types) were popular.
For our recent CPD conference I created a mini session based on a new Empower Hours I have created on Imposter Syndrome. It proved to be very well received. I'm just about to pilot it further at Learning at Work Week in May, where I am collaborating with Scottish Fire and Rescue. It will be interesting to see what the feedback looks like, and how popular it is when I launch it to the wider org later this year.
Gill-Civility Saves Lives. I think this is something that would be very useful in policing. I'd be keen to have a chat with you ref this. My team (CPD Team) are collaborating with other public sector orgs sharing our new product that my colleague and I created last year, Colleague Development Guide, so perhaps there is an opportunity for some cross collaboration. |

Hi Charlene. Some topics we had good responses with were around Resilience and Tackling Sexism. Recently we began producing inhouse podcasts and Im happy to share our learnings. We have 3 areas of focus that our recordings fall under... 1. Technical Eg, Earthworks, Structures etc, 2. Conversations eg, Getting to know leaders and employees with interesting backgrounds and career journey 3. Expert Insights. eg SME's give advice around specific areas of our business eg Project Management or Leadership and include the relevant systems and processes. We have developed a podcast planning and interview guide and ensure each episode doesnt go any longer than 30min. We also create a summary sheet for each episode as an alternate learning resource. Im happy to share our resources if needed.

Absolutely agree with the suggestions below. In the NHS we frequently facilitate on Civility Saves Lives (whilst this can be an NHS topic, the principles of being Civil are important everywhere) & Compassionate Leadership. |

I agree with Rod on Psychological Safety; the others I would suggest is Emotional intelligence and the importance of Effective Feedback.
Thanks Tanya |

Big topics that keep coming up in conversations I'm having at the moment are Psychological Safety and Growth Mindset.
Happy to chat further if that would help.??
