Good morning

I am thinking of starting within the trainers library community a regular feature based on the principles of Executive Roundtables - perhaps naming it Trainers Roundtable. This will be community led. The idea is to facilitate a small group of trainers, either employed or self employed around a business challenge right now. By business this is related to training challenges. Not how to run a training programme, more about what are the bottlenecks, pushbacks preventing from addressing the issues. What are you seeing that you know are the real issues, others are ignoring. Remember this is related to training and development.

The roundtables are approx 60-90 mins long and a space for peer level insight sharing, shape thinking before implementation, gives clarity of mind and importantly connection. Only one topic per round table is discussed.

I see these running monthly. Curious hearing your thoughts and if this is something you’re interested in

(I met with Rod yesterday and floated the idea so he is aware I am posting)

I absolutely acknowledge and appreciate the time constraints which makes this even more important to ensure the topics discussed at each roundtable are of most value.

With this in mind, what are the topics urgently needing attention right now you are seeing?

I too love this idea and am in and hopefully will be able to attend at least a few. Availability always an issue for these things! Thanks Sera for taking the initiative and have a great bankholiday all! Lottie

I love this idea - and think there is potentially enormous value in community led initiatives like this that help support networking and learning across our membership. So I really hope there is an appetite for this.

Hi Sera, I'd be interested in this, I am already am member of a couple of these forums. My only concern would be around time and resources, as we have gone through a business restructure I have found these harder to commit to and attend. Thanks Jo
